Suitable Identification

To complete your Business Online registration, you will need to provide copies of appropriate identification documents for each new signatory or new Business Online Authoriser.
  If new Signatory/Authoriser is not an existing Westpac customer...
Appropriate identification documentation as follows...
You’ll need copies of any one of the following current forms of ID per new signatory/Authoriser:
New Zealand Drivers Licence
New Zealand Firearms Licence
Passport
OR copies of any two of the following current forms of ID:
New Zealand Birth Certificate
Certificate of Identity
Community Services Card
Identification Card from a New Zealand Education Institute (must have a photo)
Marriage Certificate
Another Bank's credit or debit card
  If new Signatory/Authoriser is an existing Westpac customer...
If the new signatory or Authoriser is an existing Westpac customer you’ll need copies of any one of the above forms of ID.
  In all cases...presentation of identification
‘Authorisers’ are specific to your Business Online arrangement (only). Therefore, the account owner may present copies of identification for new authorisers and certify these are true copies of identification when registration forms are returned to the branch or Westpac relationship manager.
However, any changes to a ‘signatory’ will affect the general account operating authority for your business. In this case, the new signatories will need to accompany the account owner in person with the relevant (original) identification documents when registration forms are returned to the branch or Westpac relationship manager.
